Scholarship Information


Scholarship Eligibility Requirements and Application Instructions

Applicants for PCCU's $500.00 "Power Start" Scholarship must be college/technical college bound senior high school students, or students currently attending college, and who are current members of the Credit Unions  "Power Start" Program. 

Applicants will be judged on scholastic achievement, extra-curricular school activities, community involvement, qualities of character and leadership, and financial need. 

A scholarship committee will select the scholarship recipient.  The scholarship announcement will be made at the Credit Union's Annual Meeting in April. 

Applications will be mailed to students in the "Power Start" program in February. 

Deadline for applications is March 31st of each year.

Please Note: In order to receive your scholarship, you will need to provide proof of acceptance to a credited college, technical college or university, or proof of enrollment for students already attending college.  

Applications must include the following:

bulletA completed application form including applicant's and a parent's or guardian's signature.  (Students over age 18 do not need a parent's or guardian's signature)
bulletAny other information which you feel would aid the judges in the selection progress
