Parker Community Credit Union will endeavor to preserve the credit union democratic principles, including demographic representation and volunteer participation in the organization.

Current or Existing Programs:

Board Elections: In January of each year, we announce that nominations are open for board directors in our Quarterly Newsletter. We emphasize how important it is for members to become involved in shaping the future of the credit union and encourage them to submit their applications to the nominating committee. As part of the pre-election process, members who timely file a letter of application, along with their biographical information, are interviewed by the committee to confirm that the objective qualifications requirements for directors, set forth in the bylaws, are met.

Annual Meeting - We encourage strong participation at our Annual Meeting by conducting, not only a good informative business meeting, but also making the annual meeting a fun time. Members are served a brunch, get gifts for attending, and a chance to spin our "money wheel" for cash prizes. The meetings are well attended.

We invite elected officials to attend our annual meetings to demonstrate democracy in action.
